My Kona "Merlot" bag is done - Yahoo

YAHOO, I am finished!  UFO Tuesday, just under the wire.  It's another UFO (un-finished object) completed!

I am sure you can imagine the smile on my face, and I must confess that I am really excited about this Emmaline Bag emmalinebags.com  Janelle's pattern is fantastic.  I did make my straps a little longer for what i want to use the bag for.

Okay, I admit I had to pick out the 'top stitching' and do it again.

I plan to use it to carry my stuff  (like fat quarters, door prizes, note book/journal etc.), to the guild meetings.

Cynthia cynthiaf.ca here it is, your fabric made into a bag.

Hope you like it, as much as I do.

    1. Janelle, it is an awesome pattern and I am so happy that I purchased it from you. I am going to make another one for sure, so I can keep practising my 'top stitching'. Thanks again. Debbie

    1. Thank you Helen. Yes Cynthia Frenette designed this fabric for Robert Kaufman and she is part of our quilt guild, so it was an honour to get a piece of her fabric and do something different for the challenge. Thanks for looking. Debbie

    1. I stitched about 10 inches of mine and then decided it had to go, so I picked it out, and I am glad I did. The second try is much better, but still could use some improvement. I'll keep practising on other projects and hopefully get better. Debbie
